Terms and Conditions

By booking a vehicle with Zip Car, you agree to the following terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence that has been active for at least one year.

Documents

Original driving licence and a government photo ID must be presented at pickup. KYC details and documents may be requested during booking.

Use of the vehicle

The vehicle must be driven lawfully, within speed limits, and returned in the same condition and fuel level as at pickup. Tolls, parking, traffic fines, and any damage during the rental are the renter’s responsibility.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit applies to every booking and is returned after the vehicle is inspected on return.

Extensions and limits

Booking extensions must be requested at least 2 hours before the scheduled return. Kilometre limits and extra-kilometre charges, where applicable, are shown at the time of booking.
